If you are First Nation, Metis or Inuit, please consider encouraging your child to participate in the James Bartleman Indigenous Youth Creative Writing Award.
Creative writing pieces may include (but are not limited to): short stories, poems, essays, plays, songs or even comic strips as long as they are original works created by the student. Recipients will receive a cash award of $2,500 each.
To submit a creative writing piece please visit ontario.ca/bartleman, download the PDF form, complete it and submit it along with your creative writing piece by May 31st, 2018. Good luck!
