Weekly Update: March 6-10, 2023

Today is the Second Sunday of Lent. Throughout this holy time we take time to pray and think about who we are, and who God calls us to be.

Dear God,

Transform us in prayer
Give us a desire to pray,
the discipline to make good intentions a reality;
and hearts willing to trust what you reveal to us in prayer.

Amen.

Anti-Bullying Prevention

We continue to focus on anti-bullying prevention and building positive peer relationships. On Friday, March 24th, students in Grades 4-8 will have the opportunity to participate in a class workshop focused on Bullying, Conflict and Relationships. During this workshop, students will learn to identify the signs of healthy and unhealthy relationships. They will learn that conflict is essential to friendship, and how to tell the difference between conflict and bullying. This session will be led by BRAVE Education facilitators, and supported by classroom teachers before and after the session. God of the Journey,
Walk with us this Lent.
Teach us to pray, fast, and give
in ways that bring us closer to you.
Help us to persevere in staying with you
on the journey through Lent to Easter.
Amen.

St. Nicholas, pray for us.

Wishing you a fantastic week!

Sincerely,
C. Quadrini, Principal
