Remembrance Day Liturgy

Yesterday, Monday, November 11th, our Grade 7s, lead by Ms. O’Brien, prepared a beautiful Remembrance Day Liturgy. As a whole school, we paused our day to remind ourselves of how fortunate we are to live in this great country of Canada. We prayed, sang and reflected on what it means to be peacemakers in our world and in our school. In addition, throughout the last few weeks students also learned about various aspects of the virtue of justice, peace treaties, the significance of poppies and Canada’s role as peacekeepers around the world. Our learning engaged students with curriculum expectations as well as, touched upon many aspects of our Catholic Graduate expectations, we’re proud of all of their hard work.  Below is a link  to a media presentation on peace created by Ms. Cruz’s kindergarten class! Enjoy.
