At St. Nicholas we are very proud of our proactive approach to making our school a safe environment for students with life-threatening food and/or insect bites allergies. We therefore request that all parents avoid packing lunches and snacks for their children, which “contain” or “may contain” nuts or nut products. These items present a very serious risk to the health and safety of some of our students. If you are unsure of a product, read the label for ingredients. If you are still in doubt, please refrain from including the food item in your child’s lunch. Your child’s teacher will be alerting you via a letter as to any specific allergy concern within your son’s/ daughter’s classroom. We thank you in advance for your ongoing support.
