Saturday was the Feast Day of St. Thomas Aquinas. He is considered one of the greatest philosophers of all time, and his writing shaped the thinking of the Catholic church throughout the centuries. Here is his prayer;
Grant me, O Lord my God,
a mind to know you,
a heart to seek you,
wisdom to find you,
conduct pleasing to you,
faithful perseverance in waiting for you,
and a hope of finally embracing you.
Amen.

Closing Prayer
As the month of January comes to an end, let us conclude with our prayer for unity.
God of harmony and unity,
You want us all to work together to build Your kingdom.
May our ears hear Your voice clearly
May our eyes see Your beauty in all
May our understanding break down walls of fear and prejudice.
May we make our school and community
a place of friendship, a place of belonging,
a place of welcome,
where everyone feels safe.
where everyone has a place
where all are united in You, dear God.
Amen.
St. Nicholas, pray for us.
Wishing you a terrific week!
Sincerely,
C. Quadrini, Principal
