Weekly Update: May 8-12, 2023

Throughout the month of May we reflect on the virtue of responsibility. We pray that we grow in our sense of responsibility toward others, following in the footsteps of Jesus.

We recognize that we have a responsibility to pray for others. As we pray this week, let us bring to mind someone in our family who needs our prayers, perhaps someone who is going through a difficult time through illness or sorrow.

God of love,

When we see sorrow, let us comfort.
When we see pain, let us heal.
When we see conflict, let us work for peace.
When we see neglect, let us give our attention.
Help us, dear God to live up to our responsibilities and
to help You in the building of the Civilization of Love.

Amen.

Catholic Education and Mental Health Week

Last week, we celebrated Catholic Education Week. We thank Ms. Elbers for her leadership and students in Grades 4-8 for their amazing performances on Music Monday! We are also grateful for the many guest speakers who presented to students on various topics related to this year’s Catholic Education Week theme, ‘We Are Many, We Are One’, and understanding mental health and strategies to support good mental health.

and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

St. Nicholas, pray for us.

Wishing you a great week!

Sincerely,
C. Quadrini, Principal
