Giving Tree Program and St. Vincent de Paul Christmas Program

Over the last number of years, St. Nicholas, students and staff have provided overwhelming support to the Giving Tree Program and St. Vincent de Paul Society Christmas Program for families in need in our community. Due to the uncertainty of the pandemic, we will again be combining our efforts to support the Giving Tree program that provides for the seniors in local care homes, individuals living with physical and/or other challenges, and residents of local shelters. In the past, our parishioners took stars from a tree and returned the star along with a gift to the church. The gifts were then sorted and distributed to the various homes. Due to the pandemic and its restrictions, it will again not be possible this year to provide actual gift and we will instead be collecting funds for this program as well.
