On Tuesday November 12th St. Nicholas welcomed a very special guest into our Grade 3 classrooms, Mr. Todd Jamieson. Todd Jamieson is a very talented First Nations artist who came in to engage our student on the First Nations way of life. He brought such a wonderful hands on experience with opportunities to engage with First Nation artifacts (tools, clothing, hides) and crafts. Students created an individual personal totem to represent the animal spirit associated with the month of their birth. Thank you Todd for enriching our understanding of First Nation life!
