Weekly Update

SNS Sports

Thank you SNS students for representing and displaying great sportsmanship and determination at our Cross Country Meet and Intermediate Volleyball Tournaments this past week.

Congratulations to all our Cross country runners!  They represented St. Nicholas school so well!  Their attitude and behaviour shined as they gave their best and we are so proud! The grade 7s came home with a banner and as a school we placed 5th out of 11 schools.  Way to go North Stars!  Thank you Ms. DiFederico, Ms. Macaluso and  parents and teachers who accompanied the students.

Last week some of our students also participated in invitational Intermediate Volleyball Girls and Boys  tournaments at Canadian Martyrs. The players showcased their exceptional skills on the court, shining brightly, even in light of the final outcome. They represented SNS well and we are so proud of them! A shout out to the coaches, Ms. DeAngelis, Mrs. Tatangelo, Mrs. O’Brien, Ms. DiFederico  and Mr. Franzin.

Parish/School Connection

Father Carlos visited the school last week and met with the junior and intermediate students.

We continue to strengthen our partnership between our school and parish to nurture our students’ faith and spiritual development. Our goal at SNS is to  continue to integrate our virtues, scripture and  prayer in all aspects of the curriculum and live out gospel values in all that we do. Together, as a Catholic school community of faith we continue to make a positive impact on the lives of our students.
