In the month of October we celebrated the Catholic Virtue of Compassion. Throughout the month teachers and students explored lessons and stories of courage and attempted to model courage throughout the month. As is tradition, we honor those students that went above and beyond to demonstrate this virtue. Please see the attachment for our recipients of the Compassion Award. A gentle reminder that treats and photos are available for purchase through www.healthyhunger.ca for our Halloween Dance-A-Thon on Thursday. Also a reminder that all Dance-A-Thon envelops are due back at school on Halloween Day (Thursday).

Three full weeks into our kindergarten classroom renovation project and we are seeing some amazing progress. All three classrooms have been fully disassembled. Old cabinets and floors have been ripped out resulting in a blank canvas ready to be transformed. Your parent council, teachers and students are excited and getting ready for this year’s major fundraiser. The 2019 Halloween Dance‐A‐Thon will take place on Thursday, October 31st . The attached letter was sent home yesterday explaining the fundraiser and all that is involved.
